its been around a while. myself, when i need to use something like that, i go with a henry milker. similar but it has a valve so you know you aren't putting on too much pressure, and, instead of squirting it into something, it goes from goat to jar, no way anything can get in between.

I've seen a type that fills a jar directly, called Udderly EZ. That way, you don't have the tubing to clean and no milk bucket for debris to fall into. And you don't have to pump continuously.

I built one very similar to Alice's, except that I cut off the sprayer end, attached another plastic hose that went thru a hole in the lid of the collection receptical (gallon jar with lid).
Not satisfied with that, I then built a regular powered milker out of a '73 Ford air-conditioner compressor, a piece of 8" pvc pipe, a stainless steel milk bucket and an inflation. Works great, keeps the milk protected, and I think I have about $25 invested. Make that $50, Forgot about the relief valve and gauge.

Yes, it's a Durvet drench gun. I also have an itty bitty one for the MiniMancha made with an Ivomec pour on gun.
The OTHER thing I did was hook up my vacuum pump/pulsator to the EZ Milker.
I'm an incurable tinkerer.

Do you think a milker could be made with a c-pap machine?

It was a lure lock, which made it somewhat of a problem. I used a hose clamp to secure it in place.:banana02:
What would we do without hose clamps, duct tape, and JB Weld?
