Need electric moter wireing help

Had a bad female end on an extension cord hooked to my air comp. Didnt realize it till neighbor had pulled apart the wire nuts holding the various wires apart. Now, hes left and I dont know how to get them back together. Its as 115/220 moter with 2 capacators on top. It has one ea, red, orange, brown, yellow, and black over yellow wires comeing out of the box alongside of the moter. There is a black and white set of wires in condiut going to the override shutoff. I put the orange, red, and the black wire from the condiut together, and it ran S L O W L Y.
There is a short, 6in piece of white wire going from one wire nut to another, or it was. H E L P

Look on the plate that was removed to get access to the wiring. A wiring schematic is typically located there for the motor.

I have in the past used the serial # model # and looked it up on the internet to get the wiring .
Wouldn't hurt to try.
