Where to get a wheel barrow tire?

Seems like nobody carries anything but wheel+tire assemblies that cost as much as I paid for the whole wheel barrow!

Have you checked the farm supply stores? Have you checked at a tire shop? A wheel assy. is nearly the same price of just a tire locally.

Second that on the farm supply stores. Surplus places and Harbor Freight is another good source for tires. There is a sale on at Harbor Freight for 8 inch tires on rims for 8 bucks.

Menards also does, I have gotten mine their. I would think any Home Improvement store would like Home Depot etc. If Menards do I am sure they do also. They sell handles separate.

We looked at Menards and Harbor Freight, but they didn't have the right size. Farm & Fleet had the biggest selection of sizes and we found the one we needed there.

Farm & Fleet in our area carries them but that's just a regional chain. It's similar to Tractor Supply, which has a lot more locations.

It just might be the wrong time of year ... around here right now you can't find any of the gardening supplies.... but I agree with all the suggested places

I have always replaced with a small boat trailer tire,
(high speed) and then they do not go flat near as fast
we have Mexican sandbur/puncture vine/goat heads, and it will cause a standard wheel barrow tire flat in Min's,

Tractor Supply carries them in this area; however, if it is just flat, blow it up.

A couple years ago I bought a solid tire from Home Depot for about $35.00. In season. I think Ace Hardware also carries them.

Was so tired of flats. Around here wheel barrow tires are wrapped with duct tape...

If you don't buy a solid tire that won't go flat, cut the bead and most of the sidewall off your old tire and put it over your new tire, that should eliminate most flats.

Do you have a Northern Tool store in your neck of the woods. They carry them.

You can get wheelbarrow wheel, tire, tube altogether for about $11. Or you can do it right and buy a boat trailer tire meant for hiway use the same size for like $16 to $20. It will outlast by far any tire sold for wheelbarrows. The trick is finding a boat trailer tire sold alone. They have got to mounting them on a cheap rim and trying to get $50 out of the assembly. The rim wont fit your wheelbarrow anyway. But remember Google is your friend.... I dont have link handy but I found place selling boat trailer tire for like $14 and with shipping brought it little over $20. Still fair price for real tire as compared to inner tube with tread glued on it.
