hello, new here also :)

Hello,
just thought i would introduce myself before i jumped in with a question. I have been lurking and gleening for sometime, what a great site!
We have a little mini farm, 4 acres, and i raise rabbits, boers, chickens (layers and soon meaties), all for food, and horses (my daughter's). Then on my friends property, we raise pigs and soon a couple cows (we are working cooperatively with another family, sharing what we raise, and keeping some here, some there). Much of it is brand new to me (and very small scale), but i raised rabbits as a kid, just refreshing.
Thanks for such a great site!

Hi all, I'm new here too. We live on a homestead in central Maine with gardens, blueberry fields, sawmill, woodlot and part time jobs. Slow but sure the part time jobs are going away.
I really like this site, thanks Paul

Welcome! It sounds like you have a great system in place. Be sure to tell us how you get it all done.

Welcome to HT Josafeen and overthrow! Glad to see you put your state in, overthrow, as it makes it easier to reply to some questions.

LOL, i must've implied that i have a system or know what the heck i'm doing! Not so. I'm working on it, but i am mostly figuring as i go, and gleening from books and forums
That's where i want to get to though-- a system. I am sorta close to having my rabbits on a system but then again, i have two rabbits (heehee). Oh, and a litter of 7 kits. But we are on the lookout for 6 more NZ and CA does and a NZ buck (have our cages all set up and waiting). So, i'm pretty small potatoes
