WOW!! Scored a generator

Was searching our local craigslist for prepping and SHTF items and ran across a 5500 Watt generator with a Yamaha motor. Ad said it would fire on the first or second pull but wouldn't generate any power. Wanted $175.00 for a generator that retails for more than $700.00. Took our chances and figured if we couldn't get it running ourselves, we knew someone who could help us out. Brought it home and DH had it fixed in 5 minutes. The field needed to be flashed. It only had 46 hours of run time on it........Yahoo, major score. We are so excited.

You can tell what someone thinks by reading the bumper stickers on their car. You can also tell if they think at all.

I sold Yamaha generators for a few years. They are a great product. I wish they would start making snowblowers again. The Hondas are not as good.

No, no, pheasantplucker! That wouldn't be helpful at all.

flashing the field

you take the back off and attach a 12 volt battery neg to neg post and then briefly touch the positive to the positive post. It will remagnatize the field. Fixed ours, hope it does yours.....
