japanese flowering dogwood fruit

I have 2 of these trees on the property full of fruit. Anybody have any experience with them? would they make good jam?

We have one of those. I like the fruit, but I've never tried to make anything with it. I am interested to see what you find out.

Love the Kousa's, but never tried using them as a food source, but did find a parfait recipe.
