Do they have a web site where one can view items onine in advance of the sale? I realize that with most consignment auctions items are brought in at the last minute.

I'm pretty sure this is the one Bill's referring to:

http://www.chuppsauction.com/

It's in Inola. I just checked the website, and it says you can sign up to receive sale bills via e-mail. If you click on the Consignment Sale button, it has pictures taken Wednesday and Thursday and a spot for Friday, although obviously those haven't been taken yet, so you could see what they have.

I've been meaning to go for ages, but never seem to get around to it, won't make it this time either, have other plans, but Bill always posts about what he saw afterwards, and it sounds pretty interesting!

Thanks for the link calliemoonbeam. Say, that looks like an interesting auction. No small affair to say the least.

Sure a lot of items I'd probably bid on if I was there. The Covington planter, the 3 pt. one-way, David Bradley tractor, Gravely tractors, etc.

What cheap entertainment it would be to go to that auction.

I already have plans this month, perhaps another time. Enjoy and successful bidding to those that do go.

Farmboy do they have the lumber and tin on a regular basics? If you get a chance see what the tin goes for. I am going to put a tin roof over an old trailer on the new property. Is it used or new. Thanks any info is appreciated.

This is quiet the auction, can be anything there. If I go again, I will take my 4 wheeler or rhino to get around on and have a place to sit. Gets tiresome, if in the summer take some shade of somekind.

I went to an estate auction this weekend and it was good. Lots of woodworking tools. I got a one of those things you put through a board and cut a circle with roto zip. and 3 boxes of clip head nails and a hitch mount for a trailer for only $40 dollars. They had a lot of other tools and some of it was almost brand new. They had a router table like the one used on router show on PBS. It was in a building 30 x40 and it was full.

Farmboy, I'm gonna have to locate you at the auction one of these days. I didn't get to go this time but I'm usually there quit often. I sold a bunch of chickens at last months auction. If I get to go this next month, I'll get in touch with you so we can look out for each other and shake hands.
