What animals do you not have that you wish you did?
I would love to see peafowl walking around the yard, but know they would wind up in the road or the neighbors. It is also the only animal that DH has said no way to, doesn't have the same dream of waking up to a peafowl scream as I do
We did have lambs but learned the hard way that our fencing is not really up to the task, so that will have to wait a bit.

I REALLY want a draft animal, either a donkey, mule, or ox. But I know I just don't have enough time to train and use one...

There isn't much that I haven't wanted at some time.
As I mentioned in the other post, I'm saving up for goats next spring. I would also like a much larger flock of chickens of various breeds I am interested in, and more and better stock in my Silver Fox rabbits.
I'd love some Highland cattle, definitely bee hives, and have been getting very interested in Texas A&M quail. Pigs are something I sometimes want, but I think I'm several years off from those guys.
Things i do NOT want: Horses, sheep, waterfowl, cats.

Peacocks are the MOST ANNOYING animals I have ever been around. This is coming from a person who thinks Roosters Crowing are enjoyable.
I am serious, a neighbor I had in Florida had Peacocks, the screech and screech so loud all the time. It is very unnerving.
Anyway the animal I would like next is pigs. I will probably get rabbits next however as I am easing myself into more animals and I think that rabbits are going to be easier than pigs. IMO

I think that raising Yaks might be interesting, IF one had the committment to keep them.

One thing I NEVER want again is peafowl! Loud, obnoxious things.
I'd like a draft horse or 2....

As soon as I move to the country I WILL get chickens, possibly a pet goat or two, maybe a few pigs (just to raise from baby to freezer), and probably an odd assortment of rescued livestock. I can see myself collecting some disabled animals like foundered ponies.
Things that I would like in my dreams are
A camel and a zebra. Both are possible.
Reindeer...but then i would have to make sure the property I buy has never had sheep on it...from what I understand...
I would LOVE elk too...but the fence would kill me. I would like a big bull elk and some cows just to sit and watch. The elk are cheap (you can even get them free sometimes) but its the fence thats not easy.

Bees.
Or a Unicorn.
I think my chances for a unicorn are better though.

I had peafowl, and mine did not scream. We rarely heard them call (there were only 3). What they did do that was hard to take was POOP on my porch. Since I raised the chicks in my house, they associated the house with humans. And spent most of thier time on my front porch : (
As for what I still want to get: I plan on getting a dairy cow, either a Jersey or a Brown swiss.
A few meat goats, a few pigs to raise to market weight, and a riding mule.

I would really like pigs but hubby says NO...I foresee I may win that argument one day. I would also love to have a donkey again, I think when my 2 horses pass on I will get a donkey to live with the sheep.

I'd like a family type milk cow, but it isn't practical. I would be the only one that could milk and I just don't feel that is a sensible situation.

dog - would love to have one for DS...but reality of trying to keep house free...discouraged DH from allowing one.
guineas - I love their call. I am sure the neighbors won't.

well I would love to have goats and a mule, a couple of cows and some horses. But since we're stuck here on 1 1/4 acres I just have to be content with the rabbits and chickens. Oh I'll add geese and peafowl to the list too. Heck I'd have a whole barnyard if I could!
