One of the long time owners of McMurray Hatchery passed away this past week. He was a great man and really believed in a family owned and ran business. He raised own broilers for butchering, gardened, and would have fit in very well on this site.

I have more chickens set to arrive from them this week. They have ALWAYS been a wonderful company to work with....I have been ordering chicks from them since 1999 or 2000....our prayers are with his family and the company because of their loss...

That is sad, I always have had good success with their company. They really put alot of care into their birds and I can't recall ever being unsatisfied with their service!

Sorry to hear that. I have bought chicks from them for years (decades?) and had very good dealings with them. He had a good company.
