Hardcore pawn? I think the stuff is neat they bring in. However, some
Of these knuckleheads are letting things go for cheap.

I find the repo hard to believe. When I did repo in NC we had a bunch of rules to follow. I can't see them going and stealing a car or what ever out of a fenced yard. If in a fence I had to take a policeman with me to try to get the people to give up the car. Same thing if it was more than ten feet from the edge of the road. If in a public lot it was free to take. If you have a court paper the police would see that it was enforced. Sam

Had to look them up, had no idea they were actual shows.

Um, looks as if Repo is "re-enactments' as well as the Hardcore one. The other looks to be some what more legit, but who knows?

Pawn Stars = real. Hardcore Pawn = TV show. I do get some real good Info from Pawn Stars + a good laugh at the kids and Granmdpa. Hardcore Pawn, just another, fake reality show.

Edit: The Repo show, in my state they break all the rules, and I would hate to pay their Liability Insurance.

I like Pawn stars, so many interesting things come thru those doors. I like the old man and of course chumlee. I agree that sometimes they offer people too low a price for their things but the are in the business to make money and you are going to a pawn shop..

Chum Lee should get an emmy. He is hilarious. I could actually see him pulling that pull toy in real life. And they always use him as the guinea pig. Here Chumlee, you shoot it and see if it explodes.

Just in case someone didn't see that episode, when Big Hoss got business cards made for Chumlee, he had them made as Chum Lee. So Chumlee stood at the door of the shop and told everyone entering that when they were ready to buy something, to ask for Mr. Lee, Chum Lee.

Is there any "reality" show, that is not "fake"?

They are all carefully scripted for drama and effect, IMO.

I ave a friend that has been in the shop on pawn stars before it was a show and swears its exactly like it is on the show. He inherited a bunch of books and sold them. Said Rick told him they were worth more than what he asked.

Harcore pawn is a joke. As with Operation Repo. THat sow lowers the IQ. There no way in He** that bunch of freaks would get something from me. That thing sonia would be the first I would knock in the head then the roided out freak. I saw the episode of them repoing the car from the construction crew with the mini excavator. Well that crew tere was no fresh dirt no busted concrete or a concrete saw or hammer. Then a stage hand standing tghere with a miners pick axe. I work construction and only a few times we had a pick axe for using around a pipe of narrow space. Theres no way folks can go around acting like that. I often helped a friend with a towing service. He also does repos to. Ive only seen 2 or 3 act up wild and that was usually a doper. Lester did carr ya gun but never pulled it. Usually most folks understood they didnt pay the payment. He also had alot of folks that cant make a payment that he would help get a nicer car they could afford.

We had a repo comany come in that they all dressed in black and acked like thugs. THey didnt last long one got shot 2 got the compound he** beaten out of them and their truck got trashed. My friend then got to Repo their truck lol.
I didnt even watch one whole scene of the hardcore pawn crap.

There was a recent episode of Pawn Stars where a lady brought in a Faberge spider...She didn't realize what she had and was trying to get $2k for it...Rick kinda looked at her a second, sighed and said he'd give her $15k, and then explained what she had and why is was worth more.
So then the lady asked if he would pay her $17k.
