homestead land available

This website www.ozarkland.com might be a good place for some people to look into buying their homestaed property. The man who owns these properties in northern arkansas and southern missouri offers to sell raw land for just a down payment, then monthly payments normally well under $200 a month, no credit checks. I had a piece of his property a few years ago, it is legitimate. Maybe this can help some of you who are looking for land. I am thinking of buying another parcel/parcels and building a cob or strawbale home, or some type of alternative home and then selling to someone who wants to homestead. Hope this helps.

ozarkland.com aka woods and waters, willow springs missouri. my eight acre parcel in laclede county missouri, which i paid off this past summer, was purchased from them. i found his descriptions to be honest and fair, his disclosures to be thorough, and they were very cooperative when i got behind in my payments....which was often since i was living in new mexico the entire time and the missouri property was "extra".

but now it is paid off, and i am temporarily living in the nearest town of size, working on the property as i can. we plan to move out in spring, by cracky.

anyway, i'd recommend woods and waters unreservedly to anyone.

SpiritMountain What you are talking about would be a good idea but he is so over priced on his land that I would be afraid of reselling it and getting my money back out of it.Considering property is selling for $850 an acre,and Neil is selling it for $2,000 up.

I agree the land is a little higher than the surrounding area, but I am not to say how much Neil can charge for the parcels. He can charge as much as he wants and if I dont like the price I wont buy.
I think he has a good deal for people because he lets anyone come in without credit checks and he is easy to work with if you are late on a payment. And a person can trade properties with him if they decide they want to live on a different parcel. His deal may not be pleasing to everyone in every aspect but at least people dont have to go through alot of hassle to be able to have land to build their homes on.

SpritMountain all I'm saying is are you willing to pay double the going price for property,put a house on it and sell it,and make a profit.

I'm not saying it isn't easy to get property the way he sells it,there is several companies around doing the same thing.

I bought property in October as close as you can get to Truman Lake,owner finance,good road and Electric.Problem is there is lots of restrictions,thats the only reason I didn't sell out and move up there.But Neil is getting the same type property here lately.

If your wanting to buy property and build Homesteads,and resell.There is a 100 acres owner Finance,$850 an acre over by me.
