This house and the owners are amazing.

They have built their house from garbage! It's amazing.

I'm thinking about doing the same kind of floor, with granite slabs... but instead of cutting them all square, lay them out randomly... (have an unlimited source of granite/slate/marble slab waste pieces)

When I was about 12 we lived in Vineland, NJ for a short time, and there was a house close to there built of garbage. Don't know if it's still there, and it certainly wasn't as creative as the one in the video. But even as a child, I remember thinking how great it was to take waste and do something with it.
OTOH, I can't think of the work involved in collecting and using all the components of the house in the video. And to think he wants to do 20 more! What a committment to ecology.

That is amazing, I love that bamboo ceiling!

I'd love to know how that outdoor, up-the-mountain elevator works, that would come in handy at the mountain.
