Fair day

Just got back from getting the kids projects checked in at the fair.
Never had the opportunity to do 4H when I was a kid so I get to experience it "second hand"
Only 16 goats this year but that's up from 5 last year. Lots of chickens and tons of stuff in the arts and crafts building.
We walked through the worlds largest round barn and checked out the cows that were in so far....
Looks like it should be a good fair with plenty for everyone to check out. And..........Uncle Ted is here Friday night!

The Fulton County Fair starts this weekend in Wauseon, Ohio. More people come here than the state fair and for good reason. I've got other things to do during the Labor Day weekend so I'm taking off next Wed. to go. The last few years, they have been doing exhibits of grain harvesting, haying, etc. through the history of the county. This year, it's agricultural tillage.
I want my butterflied pork chop sandwich and I want it now!

Wish them luck from us. It's a great experience.. Trying to get our boys interested in 4H, etc. but they prefer gardening and playing at home rather than organized events. We keep the options open, and re-suggest it occassionally.
