Chain Saw Chains

What is a good chain saw chain to use - in your experience?
A chain that works/cuts/holds it edge and can be sharpened.
Thanks.

Stihl "oil-o-matic" are the best I've found ( and I've used a LOT of chain ). They have a patented oil groove in the chain that drives the bar oil down into the chain body to provide good lube....the steel is good in them, holds edge pretty good.

Oregon 91vx is some of the best I've used. I've found that pretty much all chains will hold their edge equally so long as you treat them right (keep them out of the dirt/touch them up every so often).

Stihl does make excellent chain. As for the exact cutter style, that depends on your saw and what use you have in mind.
