Question Peeps from Longshadow n NY

About 3 years ago DH & I bought a beef package of pasture raised beef from Longshadow Arces or Longshadow Farms near one of the Finger Lakes here in NY. I remember reading here on HT that they sold out and moved to Alaska.
That beef was the best beef we have ever tasted. 3 years later we still compare all beef to their excellent product. It was so good that we are still talking about it!
The last 2 years I have gone in with a bbgf on a local raised heifer usually an Angus mixed breed. 2008 cow was fair. Last years cow (Angus & something French) was nothing to write home about. Infact I still have about 30 lbs. of it left in the freezer. Which helped us decide that even if it means that we eat less beef due to cost we would rather spend our beef dollar on the type of quality that we obtained from Longshadow.

Which brings me to my question -
Could the owners of Longshadow please p.m. and tell me what breed the beef was that still to this day makes my mouth water, and if you know of someone in this area that offers the same quality beef ?

Pelenaka, if Longshadow is on here, you could send them a pm. When I read your header about "peeps," I though you were asking about baby chicks, which around my area are called "peeps" sometimes. To find out about the cattle breed Longshadow had, if you can't find them, perhaps the local ag agent would know. The quality of the beef would result from a number of factors, breed, sure, but also the diet and care, age at slaughter, how slaughtered and processed, aging of the meat. Of course, if you could find them, they'd be able to tell you what you want to know, so perhaps someone on here can help you. Or maybe you could edit the title of your posting?maybe by my bumping your post up again it will catch the right person's eye this time? I hope for you!

Thanks for all the advice. Didn't occur to me about calling out a chicken instead of a cattle rancher.
Now as luck would have it the meat freezer has passed. Coulkd be worse. I could have found Longshadow, bought beef, and then had a freezer wake.

I typed "Longshadowfarms" in the search feature and found that she's been here on a daily basis.
