Tonight's moth photo to be IDed (and a butterfly too)

Here's the moth (it's a pretty big moth):



And the poor butterfly I found dead in the garage:



Actually, the moth is also dead. It's been in the gun cabinet since I found it dead last year. The butterfly is now keeping it company.

The butterfly is a red spotted purple.
