Question Question about hog manure on field

Thirteen of our 35 acres is field that is usually planted in corn or beans by another farmer. We quit having him farm those acres because I want them planted in hay/pasture. Another farmer asked if we cared if he spread hog manure on our field. He will spread it in furrows then come back in a few days and till it all up.
Does this sound like a good thing to let him do? Are there any concerns about planting it in hay/pasture grass this fall?
It sounds like a great way to get free fertilizer but I just don't know anything about it.
Thank you!
Sue

I would ask him if he has an analysis of the NPK level and just how many lbs per acre he plans on putting on. It's great fertilizer but you can overdo it. Also, here, we only apply hog manure once every 3 years to avoid a buildup of heavy metals in the soil.

Thanks ksfarmer. I'll check with him. This will be the only year that we'll have it done since it's going in permanent pasture.
