Any Ohio Get-togethers planned?

I need to make a trip to Lehman's so I thought I'd ask. The last one was a lot of fun!

I've been too crazy busy to think of trying to put one together. I was thinking later in the fall might attract more people as we are getting into harvest season and I figure folks are likely busy.

Is anyone else going to http://www.anrcexpo.com/Welcome.html on September 11th? Our farm is not too far from there.

I'm looking forward to seeing you guys (and everyone else) again. It was fun.

I'm thinking of a road trip to OH to look for fish farm property later this fall when the temperature drops a bunch.

fishhead,

Where are you looking? What type of property? Are you looking to do it in tanks or ponds?

I would need relatively flat property with clay soil to build levee type ponds. It would need an aquifer within 100' of the surface.

If possible I'd like to find property fairly close to some kind of state forest land because I like to hike and there's no way I could ever buy enough of my own.

As far as where, that's still open. OH is promoting aquaculture. That's why I'm looking at the state.

There have been a number of stories in Farm and Dairy about fish farming.

If you are going to be in NE/EC Ohio, give a shout.
