I should have elaborated in the 'youtube' thread...I DID get my bag but after long hrs of hassels.
Landed in Nashville after layover in Memphis from Dallas. You guessed it, bag stayed in Memphis. Delta person in N'ville said bag would be at my doorstep later that eve. Yeah, right! Oh, so they'll drive it 4 1/2 hrs THIS eve? "Oh, well, how about FIRST thing in AM?" Sure. I give AM address & PM address-as in AFTER 6 pm.
I get a brochure about how sad they are & how to 'track' the bag w/lost bag number & phone # to call.
No bag in AM. Read brochure-they were SUPPOSED to give me a toiletries kit. Nope. Delta lady on phone says it will come that day. VERIFIED am & pm addresses.
No bag that day. All calls to baggage # are disconnected after typing in the bag claim #.
Go on line to track. Bag is scheduled to arrive JULY 10th!! And here I am in N. GA mts, trying to work retail in DD's store to help her out-from 6/15-6/20!

Finally got a customer service person who wouldn't transfer us to the baggage # to get disconnected, and they said it was enroute via FedEX. Great! NO! Wrong address! No one home out in the country w/locked gates!!
Finally figured out there's a way to keep the remote gate open. Sigh. Of course they delivered it to the guest house instead of the main house.
