Angry EPA What In The World is This? Milk to be classified as OIL???

EPA classifies milk as oil, forcing costly rules on farmers
Quote:
But the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is classifying milk as oil because it contains a percentage of animal fat, which is a non-petroleum oil.
Has the government gone mad????? Is this for real????
That is just nuts~! I don't have much respect for the epa in the first place and this just puts the lid on that~!!!!!

This helps put it into a more proper prospective.

Apparently, they haven't seen the reports that say milk is one of the best fertilizers out there.

EPA is worried about milk which hasn't been shown to be a problem,
whereas they say everything is fine in the gulf.

Then they told BP to use a different dispersant, they refused, but it is still OK:

Lastly, it seems "the fox is guarding the chicken coop" , but the EPA isn't demanding that stop either:

Sort of reminds me of one of the superfund cleanup sites up in Wisconsin. The cranberry growers were selling to the government who had them pile the cranberries outdoors. To make sure the farmers didn't sneak in at night to resell the same cranberries the next day they doused the pile with diesel oil.

Farmers find it necessary to dump milk occasionally to drive the point home that they are not making any money. Evidently the EPA has been instructed to terminate this abuse. Maybe now the government will be able to dump milk on those cranberries rather than diesel.

That is not the reason, I was bad 2 years ago, and still have not been allowed to come back.

Would that be 'raw milk' or processed?

(No, I don't think we need another evils/blessings of raw milk thread)

Another ridiculous ruling by a runaway gov't. We are all going to be held hostage. When is this going to stop?

It's going to stop when people stop playing video games, set down their doritos and coke and say something. I once told someone about legislature that would stop kennels, and then fishing, hunting, blahblahblah, and he said, "They try and get that stuff through all the time and don't." Yes, but only because of very determined people like MOFED.

Isn`t this just the silliest thing you ever heard, I guess now you can say I`m selling crude milk (raw milk). I am not going to mention the raw milk issue on here, so I hope no one else does. Bless you all, >Thanks Marc
