OOo. Sirens going off. Yellow sky.

Big storms going through. I hope everyone around the area is okay. Southern Wisconsin is getting hit hard just now. See you all later. Stay safe.

OK here in western Lafayette County but it's getting worse as it heads northeast. Be safe.

Nebraska has been getting hit pretty hard too.
So far just for the area I live in we have gotten a bump over 7 inches in 3 days.
Expecting more too.
My poor garden is slowly drowning.

WHEEEeeeEE!~! That was interesting. Sirens apparently went off in 4 counties at the same time. We had 2 storm systems come in..one from the southish, one from the Northish. Still storming, but after the next band, we'll be pretty clear of it for tonight. Then more tomorrow.

I went out to look for any real nasties, and the clouds were..strange. Lower level clouds moving north. Next level moving east. I thought, "Now THAT'S not good" and headed for the basement with my weather radio.

Tornado apparently West of Madison, WI. Big trees down, etc. no reports of bad damage yet. 3" rain in 30minutes. many many streets flooded and closed in town, many backroads underwater. Lots of gravel driveways are washed out.

Bunches of cars stranded in the flooded streets. Idiots trying to drive thru 18" of water in little sedans.

Hopefully the storm doesn't do anything more to those East of us.

In Eagle wisconsin, about 5 minutes from here, either a tornado or straight line winds damaged 40 houses, 20 of them severely. One injury, many families displaced. A few families had to be rescued from their homes.
Electricity was out from about 9ish when that happened until 4 or 5 this morning. Electricity is still out in most of Eagle.
We spent a few hours in the basement last night,
Search the news for Eagle Wisconsin, many video's online available.

We only got nailed with a ton of rain, the winds weren't too bad. Southwest of us got the worst of the weather, especially in Waukesha county.

Oh I just posted about that in the other storm thread. I grew up minutes from there in North Prairie and my parents still live there. The first tornado reports I heard on the radio where that it landed there which about gave me a heart attack. My dad works just west of town in the business subdivision, wonder if he would even get into work today.

Vigilant, yes the whole west end of town was blocked off until tonight. Rain last night, and kettle moraine days will be going on this week-end. I almost think your dad didn't make it to work yesterday.

I'm a mile out of North Prairie too, so thankful we didn't get damage. Hope your father is well. Feather

We were at church tonight when the sirens went off. Looked at the weather station on the old Iphone.....yikes! It was already here! We decided to get home anyway. Lots of swirling clouds over head. We have had storms all day long, but tonight was the worst yet for us. Fortunately, at home, the storm split - again- and the worst went on either side around us. Some people from our church just got their electricity back today from Friday's storm.

Hope everyone else is okay.
