I'm jealous!!! :P

I've always wanted to go there bit any time we are in the neighborhood we are pulling a 53' trailer behind us and I'm not sure we could get into their parking lot! LOL plus I'm sure we wouldn't be able to stuff all the things I wanna get into our truck and still have room to live in it! LOL

We try to hit Lehman's about once a year. Honestly, it is not difficult at all to have your tab come close to (or over) $1,000. We keep a running list - and often have a request or two from friends. The first time I went, I purchased a Diamant mill, the second time we purchased a Big Berkey and an Aladin Lamp - the lamp was our anniversary gift to each other. With big ticket items that aren't available anywhere else, it just adds up quickly. Then when we shop the book store, kitchen gadgets, etc. It all adds up - but we enjoy the road trip every so often, just need to set aside some coin.

Wow, I just realized you are in Indiana. Where is Moores Hill?

There's a cattle auction barn across the street.
There'd be lots of room to park your rig.

We were there 3 weeks ago----our first trip since their remodeling and expansion work.

We spent hours there just browsing---------we got out of there for less than $50.oo---------------------------good entertainment for a road trip.

I was just there last Thursday. Took a trip to Michigan to visit friends and family and came back through Holmes County, Ohio. I've been there several times in the past. I liked the ambiance better before the expansion, but I still enjoyed myself and bought a few things: some new Sloggers, a broom, some poplar syrup, and a lamp globe.

Yes, I liked it better before the expansion, also.

With exception of those two tiny bathrooms that had to accomadate lots and lots of people.
The new bathrooms are a GREAT improvement!

Lehman's is quite a place. We stopped there on the way to Maine a few years ago. We were on motorcycles so didn't spend very much!
We also stopped by LLBean while in Maine. I couldn't get away from there fast enough! The town (what I saw) is a tourist trap based on shopping...yuck!!

It's like a mini-Lehman's, they sell some of the same things not nowhere near as big. BUT it's almost right next to Mrs. Yoder's Kitchen .....ridiculously yummy food, and not really far from Kidron. I go up there several times a year but haven't been there since they were in the middle of renovations.

I love Mrs. Yoder's kitchen! So much food and so tasty, and such nice people.

Have shopped at both Lehman's...Kidron and Mt. Hope.

Have you ever had their Peach or Blueberry Cream Pies? Sinful, just sinful.

Oh yes! The pies were definitely sinful, but so worth it. I loved everything about that place. A great memory for me.

Wish I had a cookbook from them!

You guys should visit Lehman's some weekend when there's an exotic animal auction across the street from the Mt Hope store... Kangaroos, bears, Zebra, etc...I kid you not....kind of sad as some people who have NO clue what they are doing are purchasing exotics for such grand notions such as "...a gift for their children to keep them busy in the back yard this summer" . UGH. "What do you mean I have to bottle feed this zebra baby?" "How many times a day???"

Next one is in mid Sept.
