some pix to share

finally got my photobucket going, and wanted to share some of our new house.

the 'shelf' of paintings (all painted by me!) is where the foam form/cement walls meet the wood frame walls and hubby left it a shelf so i have a big gallery space! the entire first floor, 8ft walls, is foam form walls. our insulation factor is R38. we only used in floor heat all winter long.

the railing was made by a neighbor man with cedar logs from our area, on his ranch. the wheels are from a horse drawn farm equip.

this is my floor, over cement slab, its brown paper with floor finish poly. so far so good, it seems tough, its simple to clean and a slight shine to it. it goes thru kitchen, dining, living and master

Wherever did you get the idea for paper floors? That's so cool! Now I want paper floors.

paper floor was in a shop i had some artwork in. i was gonna use a vinyl as the slab is hard, but the stores says it would discolor so much, so quick that they said no way in using it--and our budget was about nothing by the time we got to flooring, so paper it is! and now i'm very pleased it went this way!
