proline aerobic septic systems

We bought one of these 2 years ago and it has been a pain the whole time. They are now out of business. We were lied to and told we had to have one as our land didn't perk.

paperwork later revealed it could it would just have to have 1200ft of lateral line. We went with the proline aerobic system.

Our air compresser went out and I am trying to figure out how to fix it. proline went out of business because they couldn't find a pump that would work long term. The replacement pump/upgrade is $700. I was told a sump pump at home depot would work for around $100. Has anyone delt with this?

I wish we could change the system to a leach field. I hate this bigger and better "stuff" that amazingly dosen't work. What a way to start out a Mon morning. UGH.

You can get a regenerative blower that will run continuously for years for about $450 if you don't need much pressure.

Is this the system you have ==> http://septicsaver.blogspot.com/

Is so, there is no air compressor. Just a venturi and a sewage pump.
