Coffee can smell

How do you get the coffee smell out of the plastic coffee cans? I tried vinegar and water and it didn't work. It took a little of the smell out but not all of it.
Thanks!

Leave it out in the sun for a couple of days.

Fill with Some bleach and water, touch of dish detergent let soak over night. Should work.

If they are anything like my pickle barrels... I still have not found the answer yet. I've tried dish soap. bleach. borax, baking soda, sunshine, toilet bowl cleaner, all purpose cleaner. Tomorrow is another day. I will try an industrial cleaner. I use them now for chicken feed cause they really don't care if it has a scent of sweet gerkins but I would like to use them for my grain storage. Let us know if you find something that works.

Forget trying to clean them. Inhale them instead. DId you know they use coffee beans in the fragrance counters at dept stores? You sniff a fragrance, inhale coffee bean aroma to clear it & go to the next. No kidding!
So. Next time you are out cleaning Frankie Flossie & Gretta house & get too much urine odor in your nostrils, go for the coffee bean residue.

Put a half an apple in it for a day or two (with the lid on). Apples draw odors out of small spaces quite well.

Just like sorbet to cleanse the palate between courses of a meal!

Don't mix bleach and dish detergent together...bad combo.
