I have a stationary one, but a skidsteer version would be awesome!

My DH saw this and now wants one too.

Thanks

Must admit, it does look like a handy thing to have around the place.

Wow! Daddy bought a trailer-mounted wood splitter when I was young and that was great, but THIS is amazing. Showed it to Hubby. Gadget frenzy time .

I've been jones'n for a skid steer for the longest time.....

yowsa, that baby would rock in a firewood splitting duel... now if I only used that much firewood!!!

I saw some of the comments, and no one seems to know who manufactures the attachment... I'm wondering if this would be someone's home brew engineering project???

It's a Hahn HFP160 Firewood Pro http://www.hahnmachinery.com/fp160.html from Two Harbors, MN (northeast of Duluth on Lake Superior).

Now Cabin fever, I wonder how many of your weapons you would be willing to sell to get one of those? LOL I found that is a good scale to use on how bad DH wants something.

There is one around here. I have seen it several times but not sure who owns it. It is a trailer, cuts and splits a whole log, similar action. "Logbuster" or something like that.

Perhaps you could tell WIHH that you would modify it so that it would change the diapers on the new grandbaby? or...I know...she could use it to pick out JUST the right logs for the cradle...yah...She loves you...she'd believe that.....

Someone sent me that video a while back. I'd love to have one but figured I couldn't live long enough to pay for it and the skid-steer too!
My son built his own hydraulic splitter. Maybe he can tackle one of these next!

You'd need a skidsteer with a high flow pump and aux. remotes. I'd think (guess) my NH 555 would be the minimum at 45 hp and 20 gpm @ 1800 psi. More power wouldn't hurt!!
