Hey, alla youse round Bristow Okla.

Was looking at Tulsa Craigslist, and saw somebodies got whole and ground corn for sale. Ground, (and, knowing Okies like I do, that could also be cracked), is $5.50 a 50lb bag, Whole corn is $5.00 a 50#bag. If i didnt already have a ton in my bin Id call to see how theyed sell it at a ton loose. Id kinda like to have some ground or cracked corn for my rabbits.

Bill, My grandma cracked corn for her little chicks with two rocks. She had a flat round sorta cupped out rock that she put the shelled corn on, and another one about the size of a tennis ball that she held in her hand and pounded the corn with. If you check around the place you might find a couple rocks. I suppose you want to go modern and use a claw hammer and a piece of railroad rail. LOL
Good Luck <> Unk

Ive got a Gehl hammermill but dont want to fool with it for that little amount of corn. Plus ill use the shelled corn as my nephew is giveing me 2 Nubian goats, and I feed it to the chickens also. If I wasnt so lazy id just go up and buy some. Course, being retired, it helps to have the money to buy it also lol.

It seems to have infiltrated your speech. Better stay in Oklahoma where the talk is better and easier to understand IT's hard to understand how someone can make talk and York rhyme but they manage too.

FarmBoyBill; I've heard Bristow, OK for the past 30 years and hope to visit one day soon. My husband grew up in Bristow and moved here his jr. year in high school. He has such wonderful memories of that quaint little community. His best friends name was Bill and oh how those two got into mischief daily. You just brought back alot of warm memories and some huge smiles here.
