Cussed cervits

Had to replant some kale this afternoon, and the deer tracks were pretty thick, so they will get their noses zapped tonight. How are the deer in your area this Spring? What are your controls?

Pesky armadillo digs for grubs every where I dig, and water- ie transplants and young things! I like the overturned compost piles but this is getting tiresome. Hides when I go out in the garden, and guess I should gather my own grubs to bait the trap.
