Thanks, Everyone!
I forgot to mention that most of the boards had not been planed and jointed...Hubby thought they were after talking to his dad, but that wasn't the case. So, we've spent hours running them through. That's ok, though, now I have bags and bags of shavings that I will use for bedding in the chicken coop!
My husband put the second coat of poly down yesterday and will do one more coat tomorrow. We ordered our vanity top and faucet two weeks ago, so it should be in soon. When we get and install them, we'll just have to install the toilet and do some final things with the shower plumbing. Then, we will transition to using the new bathroom and proceed to tear out the old one. I'm very excited! The current bathroom was added in 1953 and is in the kitchen. They didn't want to add on to the house, so they just built two walls in the corner of the kitchen and put the bathroom in there. UGH. So, when we get that torn out, we'll have a MUCH bigger kitchen (it's getting an overhaul too).
We'll be using the wood flooring in the hallway and mudroom/laundry room area, so we still have lots of work ahead of us.
