Patience is a virtue.
In December I wrote asking about what toppers would fit my Ford Ranger. From the information I received I passed up the one that I had seen an ad for at $100.
I continued to look but those for sale are few and far between. Yesterday I learned of a fiberglass topper in good shape for the price of $50. I am awaiting to hear back what time to pick it up today in Wichita but I do have it bought.
So my patience has been rewarded with a savings of $50 which is over half of what I paid for one of the Honda clone engines from Harbor Freight at their parking lot sale this past weekend, which was also mentioned here. The $89 price was actually rung up at $71 and then the additional two year warranty for $19.99 was added in to make the price just cents over $90. In a bit of an unusual move the two year extended warranty is a true one that doesn't begin until after the standard 90 day warranty, hence a total of 2 years 3 months warranty.
Ah yes, life is good.
