Aladdin lamp parts

Mantles!

The hardware store here has had them on order for 3 months. I can't find any place on the internet with them in stock. Not Lehmans, Cumberland, or any of the lamp parts stores. Anybody know what's up with that? Anybody have any ideas where I can find some? I have 6 beautiful Aladdin lamps and use them a lot but they're worthless without a mantle.

lots of results on the google shopping search, dont know what model you have though, if I was pressed I would adapt a regular propane or dual fuel mantle.

looks like a few style mantles are not going to be available till this spring but there are vendors with certain stock again though dont know wich model you need it for.

I googled Aladdin R-150 mantles and found many internet retailers. When I followed the links to the retailers I found that many were "Out of Stock." I also found that R-150 mantles are selling for over $20 a piece on Ebay!

I'm glad that I have had a stash of mantles, wicks and chimneys for many years.

Apparently, there is a worldwide shortage of Aladdin mantles. I posted a new thread on this topic.

Thanks for the links, I'm off to check them out. I should have known they were made in the Phillipines or some such place. BTW, it's the Lox-on mantles I'm looking for.
I've been such a good girl, have lots of oil stashed, extra chimneys, wicks but my mantles are a mess. So much for my best laid plans.
