Pinata apples?

Anyone ever tried these or know anything about them.
Marie bought some at the store this weekend. They have a very unusual flavor. Very sharp and tart. Almost makes me think they arn't natural.LOL

Never heard of them, but if they're tart, I'd love them. My favorite fruits are granny smith apples and grapefruit.

here is your wiki:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinova

It has the Cox Orange Pippin in its heritage, which is MY favorite apple of all time.

I like them. Tart but not too tart and yes, some unusual flavors, but very tasty.
