Hoop House Covering

I am putting in a hoop house and am now needing to get the material to cover it. What is it and where can I find some? At least 100 foot long. My rows are 4 foot wide at the base. Thanks for any replies.

If you can use visqueen, it can be found in most farm or building stores. Visqueen only lasts one full season in the sun. If it is taken down after a short while, it's good for much longer. Compare prices.

I like Growers Supply too. They're part of Farm Tek some how. You want 6 mil poly. It lasts at least four years. If you aren't going to use it in the winter you can roll or fold it up when it's dry and store it.

Lowes sells Sunbelt 20' x 100' Clear 6Mil Plastic Sheeting

Item #: 16964 | Model #: C201006CL
$92.68

or

Sunbelt 10' x 100' Clear 6Mil Plastic Sheeting

Item #: 16961 | Model #: C101006CL $58.98

I do not see the 12x100 that growers supply show but the prices at lowes are much better. And you can have it shipped to store and avoid shipping costs.

Farm Tek carries coverings that are up to 40 foot wide, they sell by sq ft I think. Plus they also have clips and channel, etc. Very handy. Whether the freight works for you, depends on where you are located.

Regardless, you are going to need some way to attach the film to your frame, if you used metal tubing/piping, or even PVC pipe, you can make your own clips. Use next size up of PVC pipe, cut into short lengths, then cut lengthwise-almost cutting it in half.

Thanks folks. I am looking for the white cloth row covering that is breathable. Any Ideas?
Growers solution has them but in short lengths.
