Bio-Pod???

The ad for Bio-pods is very attractive to me. It looks like a great way to compost plus produce food chickens love. But they are expensive! I would appreciate it if folks on this forum who have Bio-Pods would. Share their experiences and opinions pro and con.

Gross beyond belief. I'd rather just compost.

If you place a light where it hangs a foot above the ground, it will attract flying bugs for your chickens.

I do not see why they are better than earthworms, which can be picked up outside.

Shrek, the worm guru, posted this: http://whatcom.wsu.edu/ag/compost/Easywormbin.htm

I am considering starting one outside, as I prefer worms for fishing. And, I think I have a cracked tote somewhere that I was meaning to throw out.....
