First Spring Flowers

We've got "snow drops" and another yellow flower coming up. We have many, many more bulbs coming along. We are in our first year in our new homestead and from what we hear the 90 year old previous owner had thousands of bulbs planted. It's like an adventure to see what will pop up. Got a few pictures on my blog. Can spring be far off? We've had a very warm February here in N. Idaho. There is always a chance of a March blizzard.

Why, I think those are crocuses. How very lovely! It sounds like you'll have your very own "March Bank," just like at Winterthur

I envy you your early Spring.

I didn't even know I HAD snowdrops, but mine look a lot like yours! Maybe the squirrels that planted the red tulips in the corn last year brought in a load of other bulbs, too

My crocuses are up, but not blooming yet. There is some type of low-to-the-ground weed in the garden that has small white blooms on it. The ground is covered with them. Hubby and I agreed that these are our first flowers of the year.

Wow, It's going to be awhile I think before we see any flowers here yet! I'm still waiting for the Robin's to start coming back first.

They are saying this storm is going to be mainly ice and rain instead of snow for us so it really is warming up :-) I'm not counting on a spring bloom just yet though...lol
