Thanks - I REALLY needed that! Snow and sleet last night, more snow forecast for tonight through Monday night. Sigh.

Even though it's chilly outside this morning, there's a feeling of Spring in the air. It feels wonderful!

As much as I like summer, this year it is going to be bad. We have had no snow and very little rain this winter. A couple of days ago we went for an afternoon walk. The river is way down and is below late fall water levels. There are numerous streams and creeks that are not flowing and dried up when at this time of year, are usually flowing with snow melt. This extreme dryness is going cause forest fire havoc later this year...

Tamilee, give up.

We're doomed.

The wind is hooooowling outside, snow is blowing everywhere, and we're looking at single-digit temps at least 2 nights this week.

Doomed... Doomed...

But wait... That pretty butterfly...

Maybe things aren't all bad. I'll just hibernate (in between chores) until Spring. LOL!
