Can summer be far away?

http://i945.photobucket.com/albums/ad295

As I looked at the garden a few days ago covered in snow, I thought to myself, can summer be far away? I then thought, it seems like only a few days ago that I was picking things from the garden. But as I get older, it seems that everything goes by much quicker. Thought this might help after all the cold weather and snow we have had.

Knnow what you are feeling..still have snow on our garden too.. Today is sunny and has me getting the seed catalogs out and checking out the greenhouse. It actually took me until today to put the manage and snowmen away from Christmas..!!I' sure if I dig down into the snow I'll still find a few carrots that have over wintered. But I'll leave them for the little moles and mice.
