How To Deal With UPS?
Ok I don't blame them not wanting to come down our road but they have not made other arraingements to drop things off.
Our neighbor that lives a mile past us has a Shed that UPS puts things in for them but its not our Shed.
Well UPS has been putting our stuff in their Shed they don't tell us and UPS don't tell us it is there. But if we was to go into their Shed we would be Tresspassing anyway.
Yes we called UPS didn't get anywhere.Got any ideas?

I'm assuming that most of the UPS stuff you get is from online businesses & such, not friends & family. If it's mostly company stuff, you could try contacting the companies & telling them that UPS will not deliver to your house (which is technically true) & ask them to use FedEx instead. I personally have had better luck with FedEx than UPS, although our road isn't "that" bad compared to others around here.
If it's family / friends sending stuff, it may be easier to get them to switch to FedEx.
Does the USPS stop at your door or do you have a big mailbox at the beginning of your drive? If USPS comes to your door, maybe you can have companies / friends use them instead.

Tell them not to put your stuff in the neighbor's shed. Then put out a large Rubbermaid box at the bottom of your drive & write UPS on it in big letters. Tell UPS to put your stuff in the box.
That's what we do - but we have 1 box for 6 families. It's common around here for people to use the Rubbermaid boxes for UPS. I've never heard of anything getting stolen.

Well UPS and Fed Ex neither one will bring stuff back here. They use to no problem then they kept trying to get to my neighbor that can't even get to their own place. They would get their Tucks stuck.Well they won't deliver to anyone on our road now.
If we leave a Box up by the Mailbox it gets stolen.
Told companies not to send stuff this way to send it through the U.S. Mail they won't do this.

In that case, all you can do is tell them firmly to not deliver. They will stick a note on your mailbox & then you can go into town & pick it up.
eta - UPS is strange. I remember reading about a UPS worker who, when faced with a locked gate & a big sign that said, "Beware of dog," climbed over the gate to deliver the package to the porch. Of course, the dog bit him. He sued & won.

I suggest that you find a business or friend in town that you can have things delivered to. I have to do that cause if stuff is left on my front porch it will be gone.
i have a PO box for my mail, as I don't trust the regular mail boxes either.
Just depends on how much you want your stuff.

They also have mail receiving agents that will receive mail, packages ect. then hold or ship them when and where you want. Have UPS deliver to them and have them USPS to you. UPS won't deliver to P.O. Boxes but these agents have physical addresses.

If we have to go pick up a package from UPS, it is over an hour drive to their hub.

NO one will deliver down here... just the way I want it. I don't cotton to having dozens of extra eyes viewing my treasure (junk). They all deliver to my sisters house...nice paved road... they like delivering there!

Well the first one down the road they drop off at his House. The next one I'm not sure she is a Hermit not wanting anyone to know where she lives. Then there is us.Then the Last family is the ones that put the Shed up by the Highway for their Kids to wait on the Bus,this is where their Packages are dropped.Thing is this Shed is not on their property, but they don't want anyone else in it.If this makes sence.

If you know what day something is coming(can track online) then you can call and ask them to leave it off the truck and you will come to their office and pick it up. We do that all the time. We live way off the road and our drive is a very steep hill. They would never make it.

Call and speak with a supervisor. If you don't get anywhere with the supervisor then find out the name of the regional supervisor. I'm pretty darned sure that if you go high up enough at UPS that they will help you. After all, THEY are trespassing and THEY are responsible for the loss if your neighbor decides to keep the merchandise delivered and not tell you.
Unless your road is impassible they are not doing what they were paid to do.

Did you call the number where you actually talk to person or was it a machine? I have a number for the springfield hub that goes straight to a human. PM me if you want it.

We had problems with UPS too. They were leaving our packages on the ground or on top of a community shared trash bin! When my son would look up the "tracking" information, he found that the driver was logging in that he had placed the packages on our FRONT PORCH! I am not kidding! Once, when he left packages (Christmas gifts this time) on the ground near mail boxes (this was 1.2 miles from our house and on a main road) he logged in that he handed the package to "a boy" on the porch!
I started calling UPS and it was not easy. I had to call and call and call. Finally I reached a "service center" and she said she would "take care of it" but the very next week, same thing. I kept calling and calling and I asked for supervisors, etc.
We use an ice chest cooler with a top, paint on top "UPS or MAIL" and we leave it full time at our main gate. Also, nailed to the community trash bins and on a 2nd gate at the end of the road (this one is open but seen from the end) we have a sign that says "leave all packages at the gate at XXX" and it has the directions to our gate. So, there is no excuse.
Can you find someone who will let them leave your packages at their house? We had to start having ours delivered to my office. Even though it takes longer to get to us then it is worth it to not fuss and have packages left all over the ground.
Find out the call center phone number and call them up. Keep calling. I sent emails for a while but no one ever answered me from online.
Good luck - it is frustrating.

We had trouble with UPS at our last house. We were the only house at the end of a dead-end dirt road. There was another street in town with the same name, except that one was a ROAD and ours was a LANE. We quickly got tired of having to go to the other street to pick up our packages. Finally, we just told the company we were expecting a package from that we never received it. They would deal with UPS for us. Eventually we would get a call from UPS and made arrangements on where our packages should be delivered. The key with us was that someone else (the package sender) was dealing with UPS, not us.
Hope this helps.

If UPS can't get to your house, can emergency vehicles get there?
