I remember the Whole Earth Catalog. Are you talking about the last one they printed? Or is there a different publication called "The Last Whole Earth Catalog"?

There were several editions of the "whole earth catalog", the last one was titled "the last whole earth catalog".

I still have my copy.

My parents had the Whole Earth Catalog. They also had all the Foxfire books, and The Mother's Almanac. So far the only one they've parted with is The Mother's Almanac (given to me when I presented them w/grandkids, lol). Still working on getting the rest from them.

At one time I owned all of the above mentioned books. REALLY regret parting with any of them! The last time I saw a copy of the Last Whole Earth Catalog it was very pricey and very worn.

I read my captains copy while doing CQ in Korea. I got my own when I got back, Got the supplements and subscribed to Co-Evolution Quarterly. Now I visit the Long Now Foundation site and listen to the podcasts.

Is this website www.wholeearth.com the same thing? It has a lot of articles, and some look pretty neat.

I still have my original copy I bought back in the 70s. I picked up an additional copy a few years back at a used book store. I was at a pub downing a few brews with a friend (avid gardener) and the subject of TLWEC came up. He wished he had a copy. I walked back to my house, then back to the bar, and handed him the copy I had bought as an extra.
