Isn't it odd.....................

that HT is breaking so many records lately? I know it's cold but something else must be up. Did Chuck link his video in that contest to HT?

Not odd when you consider that people are finally waking up to the screwing they are getting from the fed.

I'm talking about the past week. The old record was 4 years old and we've broken it several times in the last few days.

Unhappy

Yeah. Its kinda scary to wonder what drastic changes we might be heading into with this "climate change" It could really play havoc with our economy if the weather patterns changed very much. Not to mention make our lives more difficult or interesting. We may have to do entirely different crops in our areas or change our lifestyles. Yep,we may be headed right into a science fiction novel!

Perhaps the new year is waking more people up to the reality of Homesteading?

I think it's related to the weather pattern nationwide and the fact that people aren't outdoors as much.

Maybe it has something to do with the timespan before you are automatically logged out? Normally after ten or fifteen minutes I need to sign in again. Right now I am still signed in from my last session despite watching an hour of television away from the computer.

The old record was for either Thanksgiving day or the day before Thanksgiving several years ago. I figured that one was because someone posted directions for brining or smoking turkeys and a lot of people looked it up. I think it would be fascinating if we could get a look at where the traffic to this site comes from. I know a lot of it is regular members but I'm always curious about what other sites send a lot of traffic this way and what search words are used on google and similar search sites to get here.
