Bought Folgers coffee for $4.77 for five lbs today at Loglis, all types and no limits, usually around $6.00 or so.

Are you sure it's a 5lb can? All the packages seem to be downsizing the past 6 months, milk is in 3 quart jugs, coffee in 4 lb cans, ice cream in 4 quart pails, etc.

Folgers 5lb can up here is around $14 - 16.00 a can but we can get Fred Meyers for about $6.00.

I cant tell the difference myself but I would jump on $4.77.

Last Folgers I bought about 3 weeks ago was 2lb2.5oz. It cost over $6. I would snap up 5lb for 4.77 but would make sure it is 5lb.

Not a Folgers drinker but I've never seen a 5 lb. can of coffee. If it was 5 lbs. for that price that's a good deal. I don't see a 5 lb. can listed on their site.

5 lbs of something would equal 80 ounces. I've never seen a can of coffee that weighed 80 ounces. Most of the ones I remember are around 35 ounces.

Just saying....

Not 5lb cans, I guess I knew that. Used to be 3lb.

OK, I fell for it. The new weight of Folgers looks now to be 27.8oz. The can looks to be the same as always. Fool me once....

I have a 52oz plastic Folger's coffee can sitting in the kitchen. I googled and found other sizes listed than what's in your link.

48oz at Sam's Club: http://www.samsclub.com/shopping/nav...=5&item=406647

52oz at this place (same can I have): http://www.costsaving2u.com/index.ph...7978be3b84823c

48oz here: http://www.empirecoffee.com/empire%2...ust%202009.htm

I didn't see an 80oz, though.

33.9 oz is on sale for $5.00 at Walmart and has been for a few weeks. I have been grabbing 1 or 2 everytime I go there because before that it was $7.50+ before the sale. I just took out an old empty $7.50+ can I was using for storage and it was 33.9 oz also. I am sure it is smaller then a year of so ago, but it is the same size it was a month ago and it does cost $2.50 less. I consider that a good deal.

We drink the Colombian blend exclusively. Recently found it for 6 dollars at C&R and 5 dollars at IGA. Usually it's 10.48 at IGA and 9 at C&R. Needless to say, I stocked up. We are big coffee drinkers.

Eight O'clock is the one I love. Best coffee I've found. I buy the whole beans. I get the 12oz bags. They are $4.99 each. They have buy one get one free sales about every other month, this is when I stock up. Also inside almost every bag you will find a $1 off coupon. Its printed on the inside of the bag, so you have to cut it open. I just love a good bargain.

I grew up drinking Folgers, can't stand it now. That is okay, I live where they grow some of the best coffee in the world, and it only costs about 3 dollars a pound for the good stuff.
