Well buckets? / Gas powered deep well jet pump?

We got a 6" drilled well and the best well bucket I have found is sold here: http://www.wisementrading.com/water/well_bucket.htm

I am also looking for a source of GAS powered convertible jet pumps, all I can find it shallow gas pumps, anyone know a source for a convertible deep well gas powered jet pump?

I've never heard of any gas powered (as in small gas engine operated) jet well pumps. Most folks go with electric pumps... with a gas powered, you'd have to go out and turn it on and turn it off... no automatic pumping to keep pressure up.

They do have micro pump jacks with small gas or diesel engines... baby sized compared to the multi ton monsters employed in the gas and oil fields...

Probably be cheaper and more efficient to get a deep well dc powered pump and tie it directly to a dedicated solar panel... pump water during the day to an elevated water tank in the house or barn (elevated for some semblance of water pressure).

How deeps your well?
