Hand Vacuum question

The highlight of my dogs day is to jump in the truck & go to the mailbox with me (they're so easy). BUT the truck really gets loaded with dog hairs.

What hand vac., if any, have you found to get lots a' dog hairs off the seats & carpet - or what do you use??

I was looking at them today & think a plug in may be stronger than a cordless, but not sure. I do have a wet/dry vacuum but it doesnt seem to work well on dog hairs.

A New Years resolution is to brush dogs every other day... but I still need suggestions.

Teach them to get in the back.

the corded ones are stronger than the cordless..if you happen to have a ryobi set..they have two vacuums that run on their batteries..the cannister is stronger but there is a cordless small handheld too..we have both.

ihave a dirt devil i would give you but you are a long way away..

A 120v handheld "Dirt Devil", does a real nice job. It has a powered rotary brush in the head to loosen the dog hair.

I have never used any cordless vac, that was not 100% worthless.

Alice, I have a 4 door truck with a cover over the back bed. The only place they can ride is inside the truck. My monster dog rides with his back feet on the back seat & his front feet on the console between the two front seats.

I wish I could trade the bed cover for a cab. Then I would have them ride in the back. There's too many loose dogs around here & I know they'd jump out.

Ronbre, thanks for the thought.

So the best is a Dirt Devil??

Here's another vote for the Dirt Devil! Did you know that you can also take a damp sponge and wipe it over the upholstery and it will pick up a lot of the dog hair?

Yuppers Cindy, that's what I currently do, but that's a pretty cold way to clean seats & carpeting in the snow, and I seem to be "transport" for some elders who don't have a high stepper 4 X 4.

Guess a Dirt Devil is on my shopping list. Thanks, all.
