Battery Powered Timer

I have a string of battery powered led christmas lights. I would like to have them turn on for a half hour at dusk and again at dawn. They would be powered by a 12 volt battery. What I can't find is a timer that can be interposed between the battery and the lights , runs off the battery , or its own and will turn the lights on and off again at the appropriate time. Any help?

If you can't find the battery powered thermostat, or its more than $70, or you don't want to deal with it, take a look at this timer.
