Who is the current Sorrel in snow boots?

OK, so my beloved almost-20-year-old Sorrels are finally beginning to dry-rot.

I know the current Sorrel company does not make boots like they did two decades ago, so I'm hesitant to buy another pair.

Suggestions?

I still have my first pair of Sorel boots that were made in Canada and are now about 40 years old. I don't wear them much anymore because the bottoms of the soles are completely smooth.

With that said, I haven't been impressed with Sorel snow pac boots for many years. I believe they are all made in China now.

I would recommend looking at snow pacs made by LaCrosse or Rocky.

I have both LaCrosse Icemans and Rocky Boots. The Rocky Boots have just too slick of of a heel to walk around on snow.
The Lacrosse boots are indeed very good cold weather climate boots. I've been out gathering firewood at -20 degrees and never came close to getting cold feet. Friends of mine use them for ice fishing.
