Exclamation HELP smoke inhalation

Had a house full of smoke when I got home yesterday (didn't close woodstove door tight) and my dog ws inside. When I opened the door she came running out. Alert and full of energy (fear?). She has been sneezing and coughing off and on since. But late last night she was sneezing very hard and was wacking her nose on the floor. Now when she starts to sneeze some blood droplets spray out. Is this from a bloody nose or more serious? On a much less importaint note, what is the best way to get the smoke smell out of the house? Windows are doung only so much. Please advise me on my dog as soon as you can. Thanks, Mike.

Not much you can do for the dog. Supportive stuff would likely be sedation and oxygen at a vet. (Sedation to reduce the anxiety and nose whacking)

A commercial ionizer use in fire restoration would be the first line of attack after washing on removing the smell. You CANNOT use one of these and be in the house at the same time. They also will turn a lot of plastic items yellow and brittle.
