What is going on??

The dogs wanted out. I put them out and they stood on the porch and barked at some deer in the front yard. Did they run? Nope, just flicked their white tails and went on eating, as the dogs went on barking. The cats wanted on the back porch (glassed in). They left their food and ate the dogs food. The chickens didn't want to go in for the night. The neighbors cows are bawling and I am ready to. Sometimes I think the animals can sense something going on. Is it going to snow, rain, coyotes close in? Anyone have a nerve pill??Jklady

I know! one of my dogs (Boris) was just clinging to me last night. He jumped in the shower with me and stayed in there during my whole shower...knocking all the shampoo bottles over...and he hates water!!! It was so weird.

Could be the change of the seasons. I got some bailed straw for the dog houses last night and stuffed them allmost full. Usually when I do this the dogs look at it and continue sitting out of doors . But this year does seem to be having a quick seasonal change. This time the dogs started to burrow right into the straw and fix themselves nice snug nests. Allso I notice my neighbors goats are obviosley eating all they can every day. So old time wisdom says hard winter comeing so that may be why animals are acting odd.

it's Obama's fault.

*did I say that outloud?

j/k

but it's a proven fact that animals sense trouble and large changes in their environments

A small asteroid will buzz the Earth late Friday EDT (early Saturday GMT), flying just inside the orbit of the moon. It should pass safely by our home planet, according to a crack team of NASA space rock trackers.

The space rock, named 2009 TM8, was just discovered Thursday by the Catalina Sky Survey in Arizona. It will get within 216,000 miles (348,000 km) of Earth when it zooms by at a speed of about 18,163 mph (29,232 kph).

The time of closest approach will be 0344 GMT Saturday, or 11:44 p.m. EDT tonight.
emphasis on the word should is mine -- perhaps the animals know something the scientist's don't
