We got it!!!
The realtor called today and our application was approved for the rental on 20 acres!!!!! My husband and I are beside ourselves!!! I took everyone's advice too on the Great Pyrenees. After a post on Craigslist, I got a call from a guy 20 minutes from me that has a 13 wk old male named "Sampson" that he would like to GIVE to us! He's a pure breed! The cherry on the ice cream- the realtor said they would waive the $100 pet deposit on him! It's raining blessings here in TX.
