Filberts stained my hands

Help!!
My hands are stained with filbert juice, brown and zombie like. We never got filberts before, but I am thinking becasue of all the rain, we got a 5 gallon bucket full. I started opening them by hand, and didnt realize they darken with exposure to air. Any tips on getting this off my hands??
DH has the same problem, I tried nail polish remover, bleach spray and lots of soap and water. All I have are discolored sore hands.
Any tips apprecited, as I do work outside the home.
Thanks

It stands for Dear Husband...although sometimes I've seen ladies use it and then rant about their man so I don't know how much truth there is to the dear part.....

So now, here is my question...what is a filbert?

cobnut or hazel nut- luscious nut often seen as a marble sized/shaped (almost) nut in the unshelled Xmas mixed nuts.

Oh, I planted several hazel nut trees...they won't grow here any more than a chestnut will. I had never heard them called anything different though...thanks for filling me in.
