Erin,
Thanks for your suggestion.
I actually have the "Low-Cost" book and had my eye on the "Practical" book. I say "had" because I just purchased (eBay) a Ken Kern book on the topic. If I feel the need for another book after Kern, I'll definitely give "Practical" a shot.
I don't have a gripe with the "Low-Cost" book, but I'm concerned it's a little light on details. Nevertheless, I really don't know whether it's light or not--perhaps that's all there is to it. I guess I'm looking for a consensus. I enjoyed and learned a lot from the this book and there are a few plans I really like.
BTW, I emailed the author of the $40, 52-page booklet respectfully asking what made his book more valuable than a $10-20, 175-300 page book. I have yet to receive a response.
Thanks again,
Doug
